Privacy Policy
Last updated August 27, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Mission CFO collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately short and specific, because a privacy policy you cannot read protects nobody.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need in order to respond to you and operate this website:
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number, company name, and whatever you write in your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps, for security and troubleshooting.
- Font delivery. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it for advertising purposes. There is no advertising network, tracking pixel, or analytics profiling script on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss whether we are a good fit
- To deliver services under a signed engagement letter
- To send information you specifically requested
- To keep the website secure and functioning
- To meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations as a CPA practice
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the practice, for example our web host and the provider that delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox, and only to the extent they need it. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or professional regulatory obligation.
Client confidentiality
Information you share with us during an engagement is subject to the confidentiality obligations of the CPA profession and the terms of your engagement letter, which are stricter than this website policy.
How long we keep it
Contact-form inquiries are retained while we follow up and for a reasonable period afterward. Records relating to a client engagement are retained for the period required by professional standards and applicable law, typically seven years.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send account numbers, tax identification numbers, or other sensitive records through the website form. We will provide a secure channel once an engagement begins.
Your choices
You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Send your request through our contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to retain certain records where professional or legal obligations require it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the revised version here and update the date above.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, send us a message through our contact form and we will get back to you.
